Something About Summer Time

Mrs. Master who is incredibly rude insightful, says that the best time to get a Sibe is in the summer because they're so calm.  Then you can get them all trained up for when their energetic season comes around.

It's so hot, Boris doesn't even have the energy to be naughty.   That's really saying a lot.
We've done a whole lot of this lately.

What about you?

A Love Connection

We just had the BEST MORNING!
We met my best friend Jill at a park with her human and her baby (well, her humans' baby I guess).

Boris thought she was really cute and wanted to walk beside her.  And he's a good guy so I said it was ok if he had a crush on her.
In other news, Molly won the book.  Don't worry Molly, the postage cost isn't coming out of my bone allowance so I'm happy to mail it to you.

Happy weekend everyone!

Cool Off -- Winterdance

Mrs. Master just finished reading this book.  Well, we basically all read it by the time she got done reading all of her favorite parts aloud.  Our friends RA Husky sent it to her and she read it in just three days, laughing almost the entire time.

So, if you'd like to read this book, leave a comment and we'll do a drawing or something and send it along.  It's a quick and easy read and is hilarious...well, if you like AFV kind of humor...you know, humans hurting themselves b/c they are dumb.

Looking for a new book to read,

About Boris

It's not like you don't know him at all, but I haven't told you much about him because we've spent all this time just getting his poos normal.

Well, Friday, he FINALLY got his shots.  The vet said that if he can gain about five pounds, he can have the operation that we don't talk about in this house--N&#*$R).

Boris is outgoing and talks a lot.

He isn't helpful with the digging but he's learned how to do chores on his own.  His favorite chore is emptying the bathroom trash can by eating whatever's in there -- says he's "going green" by preventing it from going to the landfill.
This dog LOVES to play.  I mean, he really loves it.  It's possible that I've met my match.

Sorry for the blurry photo.  We had a busy weekend (as I'm sure you all did as well).

Adopt Boris.  Click here to learn more.

Adopt him soon,

Sunshine -- But We Need Rain

The ever clever Molly the Wally  passed on this cool Sunshine Award to us so here we go.  I, Nora B. Webster will answer first and I suppose I'll let Boris answer too

The award comes with Rules that we must follow,

Answer the 7 questions!
Pass the award on to 10 furry friends!  (umm...Sibes aren't much for rule following so if you want to answer these, you should but we're sometimes naughty and aren't going to do this part...sorry rule makers, it's in the breeding)
Let them know they received the award! (see above)

1. Favorite number?  Nora:  A Lot -- as in A Lot of scratches and A Lot of treats
Boris: Mrs. Master.  I love her.  I must know where she is and what she is doing
                                  at all times...oh, she's not a number...hmm...well, I love her so much, don't care
                                 much for numbers I guess

2. Favorite non-alcholic beverage? Nora:  Ice water...it's so fun to dig out the ice and splash the water everywhere!
Boris:  Chicken broth.  When I was first here, I got it on my food fairly often

3. Facebook or Twitter? Nora and Boris:  We're too young for either so we blog!

4. Your Passion? Nora:  Teaching these rescues to be good dogs -- how to dig, hunt, beg for scratches,  play, wrestle, pull really hard on the leash while on walks
Boris:  Mrs. Master.  She is so cool.  Oh, did she just get up, be right back, gotta go see where she is going

5. Favorite Pattern? Nora:  Circles.  Our house is in a circle and I like to run circles around the patio

Boris:  Half circles.  No need to go all the way around when if you just go to the other side whatever you're chasing will come back to you

6. Favorite Day of the Week? Nora:  The first day of the week the humans go back to work so I can have some alone time to rest

Boris:  Any day the humans are home and I can be with them ALL DAY LONG

7. Favorite Flower? Nora:  Tulips -- I love to pick them.  It's so fun.  I never can figure out why it's ok for the humans to clip them but they get so irritated when I do it.  Hey, if it's in my yard, it's mine.

Boris:  Blackberry flowers.  It means there's fruit soon and I can pick and eat it.  Yum!  (err...I should tell you that Mrs. Master is not fond of this so you have to be kind of sneaky)

Peace Out,

Nora B. Webster

Confession

This is me on the way out to Colorado.

I don't get to RIDE in the front but when we stop, it's my job to keep watch.

I take my jobs VERY SERIOUSLY.
We all stayed with my boyfriend Blu and his family.

You may remember him from this post.

I told you all how shameful and gross it would be to fall in love with your boyfriend's brother.

Then something strange happened.

Sulley told me how much he LOVES the snow!

He loves it so much...maybe even more than I do.

He showed me how he also loves to DIG!!!

I was so impressed but I didn't know what to do so I talked to Master about it.

He told me I would need to really impress Sulley.  That I should try something that I wouldn't normally like to show how much I care.
So I went swimming.

I can't decide if it's more shameful that I fell for my boyfriend's brother or the swimming part.

You decide,

Nora B. Webster

PS.  Boris was not on our trip, but he did stay at a nice resort while we were gone.  Both of us were so tired out that we slept the entire evening we all got back into town.

Vacation

Excuse my absence this week.  These two crazies took me to Colorado.  We're home now but I guess we're having a "staycation" for the rest of the week.  Limited time online to visit you all.

Back next week,
