Lazy title huh?
We're here to bring you the news that Jasper is meeting a potential family tomorrow. Please keep your paws crossed for him. We'll miss him around here but this seems like a super fantastic family and since he's such a super pup he deserves the best!

Crush
My boyfriend is in town this week. A few months ago, he moved far far far far far far away to a place with boulders.
Oh, the name is Boulder.
Do you know where it is and how I can get to him?
We met at the dog park and he was out playing with the other dogs so I had to go find him.
Hey Blu, are you under that table?
Nope, not under there. Maybe he's over there.
Hey, you guys aren't my boyfriend. GROSS, your foster brother is never your boyfriend. GROSS GROSS GROSS
That's my boyfriend's brother there by Jasper.
You should also never date your boyfriend's brother. That would be gross too.
There he is. That's my boyfriend Blu. Isn't he handsome?
Smitten,
Nora B. Webster

Oh BABY!
We had a guest this weekend. That means exactly what you think it means.
THERE'S A BABY! She's sweet and beautiful and healthy and Jill said she tastes good too.
Don't freak out, she just gave her a little lick.
Anyway, Jill was super stressed when they went to pick her up so we (and by we, I mean Master and Jill by themselves) did a little of Jill's very favorite thing.
Playing in the hose!
Jasper and I stayed far far away.
How was your weekend?
Dry as a bone,

Thunder Shirt
Jasper got a T-shirt (please don't mix it up with the brand name that you all recommended). It's literally just a t-shirt.
We've had a lot of storms this week and he's been wearing it often enough for me to make fun of him.
They make him wear a t-shirt and then tie it tightly around his waist. He was still scared when wearing it yesterday because they got it on too late.
Also, this is not Jasper being scared. This is just how he is.
If you know someone who wants a snuggly dog, have them go to www.taysiablue.com and fill out an application.
As for me, this is my spot.
Snuggles for Scratches is my motto.
There are some things you just can't teach.
Hoping for sunny skies,

Nora Manners
You must clean up all of your belongings.
You put them in a big pile and lay on top of them. Then,
I know you all can't go two days without seeing Jasper, so here's an older photo of him that's kind of out of focus. I'm generous like that.

Words on Wednesday -- Personal Trainer
Jasper couldn't go b/c he has an ouchie on his hip. Nothing serious and he should be fine in one week after meds and NO WALKS. Apparently, he howled the entire time we were gone.
Also, Jill STILL doesn't have her baby. Let's really be praying pups!
Working on her fitness,

Somebody's Been Sleeping in My Bed
I agree with Mrs. Master that fresh sheets are a great pleasure in life. It's important that I get to enjoy them first.
Now, onto a possibly controversial subject: sleeping on the bed.
While we don't sleep on the bed, it's fair game after Master gets up for work (or if someone is putting on new sheets, duh).
Where do you guys sleep?
If not on the bed, do you ever get to lay in the big bed?
I totally forgot to tell you that Jasper is up on the Taysia Blue website.
Someone should seriously adopt him because he's getting a little too comfortable around here.
How can you possibly resist that smile?
I mean, really, take him or he might stick around forever.
Only dog,

St. Patrick's Day Fun
The Master's had their friends over for a St. Patrick's Day feast.
Jasper is smiling like that because he had just snagged a piece of corned beef. *lucky*
There were plenty of hands to give scratches, but we like Master's the best.
Guess who was at our party...
Jill still doesn't have a baby at her house so she brought her humans over.
Of course, there were a few wrestling matches.
If you think about it, say a prayer and cross your paws that the sweet baby decides it's time to come out. Her due date was Friday and we know that Jill's human feels very tired and uncomfortable.
Jasper is just learning to sit. Here Jill and I are showing him how if you sit, the humans give you treats (humans are so easy to train).
Still waiting on baby,
Nora B. Webster

An Enemy Among Us
We have an enemy next door. The problem is that after I caught him three times and Master threw him over the fence the last time, he's been smart enough to not get in my yard.
Here he is on the next door neighbor's back fence.
Mrs. Master *claims* she saw him scamper up one of our trees when she let us out one night, but I know she's wrong as I OBVIOUSLY would have noticed.
We hunt tonight!

The Best Walk Ever
Guess who joined us on our walk yesterday?
That's right...my very best friend, Jill
We walked on the trail by our house and saw some beautiful flowers.
The humans said, "Let's get some photos of the dogs in the flowers."
Silly humans.
Jasper preferred to look at the flowers rather than the camera.
I prefer to look at Jill though. Isn't she the best?
Jill's human is having a teeny human any day now so she's going to come over for a little bit.
Hurry up little human!!!
Waiting on baby,
Nora B. Webster

Mostly Wordless Wednesday -- A Tired Dog
If a tired dog is a good dog...
Then we're the best dogs there ever were.

Rest
Everyone had yesterday off.
So we did a lot of this.
And even more of this.
It was wonderful.
Did anyone else have a three day weekend?
Back to work,

Meat the Master
I've taken it upon myself to inspect everything that comes into our house. All grocery bags, clothing bags, etc need to be sniffed by my snooter before they are allowed in.
Of course, all of the fosters are trained in this area as well so if you get one of mine, they will have quality assurance listed on their resume
Yes Master, I give you permission to brine that meat so we can have a feast of corned beef on St. Patrick's Day. Don't forget the one whose nose was hard at work making sure there were no contaminates in that beef.
Eight more days,
Nora B. Webster
PS. Thanks for all the thunder shirt recommendations. We are going to our favorite pet store this weekend to try them out (and by we, I mean Jasper, I'm not afraid of anything but the furminator...actually, a thunder shirt might cure that fear right away. Yes, this might be very, very nice).

Last Night...I Had...A Pleasant Nightmare...duhduhduhduntduhduhduhduh
The whole family went on a walk last night.
That's not what this post is about.
Sometime in the middle of the night, there was some thunder and lightening.
Knowing they would never get rest with a terrified dog in the room, Being ever so kind and compassionate, Master and Mrs. Master offered for Jasper to sleep with them.
Do you know he slept right up by their heads with his head on Mrs. Master's pillow and her arm around him?
That's a level of snuggling to which I will never succumb.
Now I have to train a dog to not be afraid of silly things.
It's a hard knock life,
Nora B. Webster

I was sleeping like this (except in my chair in the bedroom). And there was a VERY LOUD CLATTER (it was not the thunder).
Jasper had busted into the closet and was trying to hide in there among the shoes and shoe racks and really, there was no room for a big scaredy cat dog.

Bathing Beauties
Those are rocks underneath Jasper. We're not mean here at Webster Manor, he just likes to lay there in the shade. *weirdo*
I prefer the nice sidewalk and the sun.

Sometimes I shake it up a bit and lay in the grass. I'm wild like that.

The Student
Each time I go outside, I check all of my holes for vermin.
Vermin removal is my most important job here at Webster Manor.
Mrs. Master really likes her garden and between the rabbits eating the basil and the moles tunneling under the okra last year, I had to up my game.
You really have to get your snooter in there when double checking your work.
Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper in case they went further under.
A good leader knows they should be replicating themselves in order to be doing bigger and better things. So, when Jasper came along, I let him give it a chance.
He was doing an ok job for a novice.
When I felt he was ready to be on his own, I started on my other chores.
However, I kept my eye on him from afar. See how he's really getting his snooter in there?
I think he's about ready to move on and patrol his own manor.
If you're in need of some vermin control, contact Taysia Blue. Of course, I can't promise that all the dogs have been taught to same level as Jasper. But I hear the other teachers are *pretty* good so with some training, any of those dogs could be as good as we are.
Off to check the holes,
