What a Ham

I knew Boris was a show off, but I mean REALLY!

Also, for those of you who can't or don't want to watch the video, it's just Boris yapping and barking and being a ham.  I mean, there's no real reason to watch it anyway (except that you can see my supreme skills at keeping the stick away from him).

Someone adopt him NOW,

Nora B. Webster

P.S.  You can meet Boris at Treats Unleashed in Leawood on THIS Sunday from 2 pm until 4 pm.  I get treats from there sometimes and they are very tasty!

Bayou

We'd like to dedicate this song by my uncle Calvin (he's the one who looks just like Master) to my southern friend Puddles.  Beware, it's likely to be in your head the rest of the day.

You're Welcome,

Nora b. Webster

We Give Thanks

That big rope is still in our back yard so we take Mrs. Master on really long walks instead of romping and wrestling in the back yard.

Side note:  I always thought that bookcase was really big but Boris is almost as long as it!
No Boris, that is not the sound of her putting on her walking shoes.

We're not sure what's taking the electric company so long.  Memorial Day weekend is about celebrating our freedom to go out in the back yard...Right?
Well, I know it's something like that and I'm thankful for it.

Boris, are you thankful for our Veterans?

To all of you veterans and those currently serving (as well as all of you spouses out there),

We salute you!

Nora B. Webster

PS.  I'm also thankful that Boris finally has his digestive issues fixed.  Whew!

PPS.  Army of Four has a post about the real meaning of Memorial Day...we missed the boat here.

Boring...Boring...

Mrs. Master is home from work waiting on some "service men"  whatever that means.

I think it has something to do with the awesome new rope and stick in our back yard.
That big stick broke off the tree from WAYYYYY UP THERE.  It's about 3/4 up the pic and in the middle...you can see where it snapped right off.
Then it knocked the big ropes in the sky down and pulled them away from our house.
I don't really understand what all the fuss is about but I do know that we can't go outside and even though Mrs. Master is home it's going to be a very boring day.

Hrumph.

Keeping It Real

We found out last week he had Giardia on top of all the other gross stuff going on in his intestines.

Other than that,  Boris is a really cool foster brother.   He gets into all sorts of trouble and that makes me look REALLY good.

He's feeling better and better each day and has energy to do things like break out of his kennel and rip the Master's sheets to shreds.
He likes to copy me so maybe he'll calm down a bit and stop being so naughty soon.
I'm thinking Mrs. Master needs some new glasses.  All her pics are out of focus.

Keeping it Real,

Free Bow

 Hi guys.

For Mother's Day, Boris and I let Master's Mom take some photos of us.

Here I am looking at the grandkids playing next door.

They stopped coming over to pet me because when they do, Mrs. Master yells, "NORA GET DOWN!"  And they are scared of her because she is mean.

For some reason she thinks it's a BIG DEAL when I jump up on the fence.

Come on...I know I can only get over in that one spot and it's all super fenced now.
Boris wore a pink bow and we told Master's Mom that he was her mother's day present.

She didn't fall for it though.

Maybe we should have used a blue bow?
With a face like that, he won't last long around here.

If you want a dog with a pink bow included, click here to read more about Boris and you can even adopt him!  The pink bow is for free.  What a deal!

Friday Boris-day

It may look like he's quiet and likes to sleep a lot.

I guess he is a pretty good sleeper.

He also likes to play chase and wrestle.

I like that in a foster brother.

Don't mind that box over there.  They're books to donate to the library.  SOMEONE needs to take them.  *AHEM*

Snoozing,

Nora B. Webster

A Break From the Drama

This weekend was really busy and crazy--flooded basement, taking shelter in said basement, etc etc.

I don't want to talk about that.  Let's talk about photos.

You may have noticed that there is a huge difference in the quality of photos posted on here.
It's safe to assume if the photos are poor, they were taken by Mrs. Master.

If they are really good, they were taken by Master with his fancy camera.

If they are awesome and edited and perfect, they were taken by Master's mom.

Master took these.  He has really great subjects natural talent.

Boris is very underweight.  Do you all have any suggestions on how to help him put on weight?  Keep in mind that Sibes have funny tummies and too much food gives us runny poo (sick).

Also, he's still fighting off some bacteria so some of his poo problems are because of that.

We've been talking about poo way to much in this house.

Onto new topics,

Nora B. Webster

Heeeeeeeeeeere's Boris!

It's really cloudy here so the photos are bad but I wanted you to meet my new foster brother -- Boris.

He's HUGE.
And he's just a puppy!

Hopefully we'll have some better quality pics tomorrow.

His biggest downfall so far is that he thinks nighttime is for playing.  I had to growl at him about midnight to tell him to settle down.  He has a lot to learn!

Writing up lesson plans,

Goodbye Chippy

After a lot of hard work and dedication, I finally got him.

It's taken me a year to catch Chippy.

I had to rip apart the entire wood pile.
Then, Master took these photos b/c I was so proud of my catch.  While Master was putting away the camera, I had to hide Chippy.

You see, Master buried my mole under a big pile of cement and I wasn't about to let that happen again.
I'll never tell where I hid the evidence.

Keeping Secrets,

Nora B. Webster

PS.  Future Foster Not Nick is moving in today.  I should have a name and maybe some photos tomorrow!

PPS.  It seems that Mrs. Master is sad over the loss of Chippy.  She should be more appreciative of my free extermination services.
