So Long Reader

Google Reader can kiss our tails for going away.

We have known for months but now it's coming up and we need to make a switch.

Do any of you have recommendations for a good blog reader?

Nothing like procrastination!

In My 'Hood

Look what we saw on our morning walk.  If you can't tell, that's a family of geese and a whole lotta ducks.
Mrs. Master (like always) was really mean and wouldn't let us off our leashes to go say hi.

Still mad,

Quick Learner

Mrs. Master said I must have learned this from Zim or Ciara

Of course, I did no such thing and was just taking a comfy snooze when I was rudely interrupted.

Thankyouverymuch,

Ginko's Visit

I had a visitor on Saturday morning.

Do you guys remember my old foster who was so skinny and awfully sick and now he's beefed up and so so handsome?

It seems appropriate that the most sickest dog we ever did have came over while we have the second most sickest dog we ever did have.
We get to see Ginko fairly often and he just looks better and better each time!

Monet thought he was quite a catch!

Speaking of Monet...do you see all those pill bottles on the table?  Well, the ding dong vet who helped her before she came only sent her with ear drops.  Our super duper vet here took one look in her ears and sent Mrs. Master home with a load of meds.

She is doing better already and we expect a full recovery.  It's likely that she was entirely deaf in one of her ears because of all the infection.  Hopefully that will all come back!

Off to give Monet more meds,

Monet's Do

You guys, we are just in love with Monet's new do.  Normally, you would NEVER shave a double coated dog like this.  However, she was matted clear to her skin and was just a mess.

She's beautiful now.

I'd like to give a shout out to Empire Pets in Mission for doing all that work FOR FREE so Monet would feel and look better.  She's so ready for her forever family now.

Still glad I don't have to go to the groomer,

Meet Monet

 Hi Everyone!

Here's my new foster Monet.

I'm not so sure about her yet because she doesn't know how to play.  In fact, she doesn't even know how to live in a house.  Don't get me wrong, she doesn't potty or anything gross in the house but she just isn't very comfortable.

She's six and lived outside on a chain her whole life.
When she's inside, she pants and paces and tries over and over to get out our windows.

Tomorrow, she'll go to the groomers to get all her mats out and hopefully they won't have to shave her (but we don't have high hopes for that).

As always, I'll keep you updated on her progress.

Training, training, training,
