Everybody's Working For the Weekend

Last weekend, my friend Maya came over to stay the night.

We like to run together and play.

The Master's had heard that two girls together was a bad idea.  Because my best friend is a girl and all my aunts and cousins are girls, they decided that was bologna.

Then, I bit Maya's ear and made her bleed.

She started it.

You see, I was just so tired from going to visit my Aunt Pixie.

While I was visiting, I had to eat a lot of ham and other treats.

You know, ham makes you very very sleepy.

Oh, that's turkey?  Well, whatever, I was tired...maybe a little grumpy.  I also had a crick in my neck from that stupid arm rest.

OBVIOUSLY it wasn't my fault.

Dreaming of a relaxing weekend,

Nora B. Webster

PS...if you are Jess and Glacier reading this post, the top two photos are of me and Maya and the bottom two are of me sleeping in the car

Words on Wednesday -- Hey Robbers

For those of you who can't play this (or don't want to play it), this is one of AllState's mayhem commercials.  It has people robbing a house while the guard dog (the mayhem guy) chews on a big juicy bone.  For some reason, the masters totally relate to this commercial.

Sorely Offended,

Nora B. Webster

Legal disclaimer:  We are not advertising for AllState and don't even actually use them for insurance.  Also, obviously, I would bite your arm off if you tried to break into MY house.

Neighbors

Don't mind the privacy fence on the other side of the chain link.  Actually, don't even mention it because if you get the Masters started I'll never hear the end of it.

Anyway, at the end of that half a privacy fence, I can see through and watch the neighbor's grandkids.

She has like 80 billion of them and I love them all.
Hey, do you think we can have them over?

Kid lover,

Nora B. Webster

Job Hunt

This is a photo of me stopping Mrs. Master from taking Jasper's (now Kodi) pic.  Obviously it's old.  Don't I have the best tail?

Anyway, Kodi is doing well in his new home and his new family is really great.

In other news, are any of you hiring?  SOMEONE chewed the garden hose in half.  While there's no proof, there's also no foster right now so everyone just ASSUMES it was me.  I was told that my bone allowance will go to buy a new hose.

If you know anyone looking to hire a digger, exterminator, plant tramper, personal trainer, woo-er, dish cleaner or just about anything, I'd like to apply.  My resume isn't quite ready but they can read my blog to see real proof of all of my wonderful skills.

Job Hunting,

Nora B. Webster

I'm Not Your Doll

Will someone please tell Mrs. Master that this is not a real cape?
Oh, nevermind.  I have to do everything myself.

Someone get me outta here,

Nora B. Webster

The Rainbow Bridge Welcomes -- Abigail Ruby Robin Garnet

Hi, Mrs. Master here.  At Webster Manor, we hate sad things.  So, we're here to celebrate the life of Abby.   (Don't fear, we've done plenty of mourning already, I just don't want to write about it)

Today, we celebrate the dog who loved naps more than any other dog. Abby was always up for snuggling whether it be after your very first day of work at your very first job after you turn 16 (me to the left) or anytime really!

Abby also loved school dances.  She is featured in all of my sister's dance photos from middle school through high school.  Looking back, we should have included her in our wedding photos.

Don't let Abby's formal look fool you.  That dog loved cow manure more than the average pup.  Steph (my sister) assured Abby that when she got to heaven there would be a great big pile of manure just for her and that there would be no bath afterwards!
Mom and Dad loved Abby like she was their third daughter.  In fact, it may have caused some conflict between Abby, Steph and me from time to time.

You should also know that most of our family members were convinced that Abby was unable to walk because my mom NEVER PUT HER DOWN.

My favorite family vacation included Abby.  We went canoeing and mom was so worried about Abby's comfort that she tipped her canoe at least 3 times.  At one point, they had fish in their boat. (you can see Abby on my mom's lap in the pic to the right)

Abby lived a long full 15 years and she stayed healthy to the last few weeks.

I can't imagine a better week to let her go than the week of celebrating Jesus's resurrection.

While it's hard to imagine that heaven could be any better than the spoiled awesome life Abby had here on earth, I know it is and I'm happy that she can be there rolling in manure and eating all the bacon she wants.

See you later Abby!

Lone Wolf

Remember this guy?

Yeah, Jasper.

Well, you can forget about him.  He has a new family.

They are good and great and really know about dogs and he should be very very happy there.

They were contemplating between two names and also liked the name Jasper.  So...we're not sure what his name is right now but we'll just call him Jasper.
So I'm a lone wolf.
Just sitting out here all by myself.
Please stop taking pictures of me.  This is embarrassing.
Seriously, get another foster so you can get that thing out of my face.
All of this attention is exhausting.
*sigh*

Someone get me a foster.  I can't handle all of this attention.

Lone Wolf,

Nora B. Webster

PS.  On a very sad note (and we do not like sad things), my aunt Abby (the red headed doxie) turned 15 last week and she got really sick last night.  She's at the vet and they're doing a lot of tests.  It doesn't seem fair to get sick right after your bday.  I'll keep you posted as she is the queen of the family and we are all very concerned about her.
