Everybody's Working For the Weekend

Last weekend, my friend Maya came over to stay the night.

We like to run together and play.

The Master's had heard that two girls together was a bad idea.  Because my best friend is a girl and all my aunts and cousins are girls, they decided that was bologna.

Then, I bit Maya's ear and made her bleed.

She started it.

You see, I was just so tired from going to visit my Aunt Pixie.

While I was visiting, I had to eat a lot of ham and other treats.

You know, ham makes you very very sleepy.

Oh, that's turkey?  Well, whatever, I was tired...maybe a little grumpy.  I also had a crick in my neck from that stupid arm rest.

OBVIOUSLY it wasn't my fault.

Dreaming of a relaxing weekend,

Nora B. Webster

PS...if you are Jess and Glacier reading this post, the top two photos are of me and Maya and the bottom two are of me sleeping in the car

  1. Eating lots of good foodables can make you very tired and you probably didn't even know what you were doing. I bet it was just a love bite anyway.

  2. Hehehehe, I was just sittin' theres thinking..."turkey makes you tired not ham"...but whatevers, we don't has to haves a reason to be tired so why get all technicals. I would blame dis whole situation on da arm rest...period!

A room full of girls can be a bad thing...hehehehe.

  3. Boxer girls don't get along in the long-term, though they can be good playmates short-term. My sissy is too bossy to get along with most dogs. She's nice, but if you don't do what she tells you to, she gets all grumpy and mean.

  4. You got turkey too? We had lots of tidbits all week as we helped clear out the leftovers for Mom. Maybe that's why we were so sleepy all week.

Good luck to you today, Friday the 13th. We sure hope the weather peeps are wrong.

  6. Our parents have never bought into the whole "girl pups not getting along" thing. All of our sisters have gotten along famously. It's all about respecting the alpha. Now female bipeds are a different thing altogether. Ha roo roo roo - just kidding!
Is Maya a KSU fan? I noticed her purple collar!
Help your peeps batten down the hatches, Nora - it's going to be a rough weekend, weather-wise!

  7. Nora I 100% agree with you ham has an ingredient in it that turns a very docile dog/cat into something it would never be otherwise. I ate some
Ha-aa-mm at Easter and it made me hiss at my human sis. MOL
