Nanook

 Hi Guys!

I want you to meet my buddy Nanook.  I took him on a walk a few weeks ago and it was SO FUN!

He's fostering here in the Kansas City area so if you're interested in him, click here.

He's' HUGE and LOVES walks and is really fun and sweet.

Don't you love his brown eyes?
Mrs. Master is SOOOOOO dramatic and acted like it was the end of the world when I broke my collar on Saturday.

She texted this photo to Master.

It's not my fault that they have me out on a lead in the back yard and I needed to break free to chase vermin.

Good grief...it's like they don't like it when I jump the fence to chase the vermin in the neighbor's yard.

Seriously.  It's like a prison around here.

Someone save me.
Now, I have no idea how this photo got here.

My body was invaded by aliens.  Obviously, I would never snuggle with Star on the big bed.

Sigh.

  1. Good luck to Nanook - he is one big and handsome boy.

We don't wear collars any more because Lightning chews them off all of us or else we get them caught in the Mom's curlicue no-sibe fencing.

No worries about the snuggly shot, it's cold enough here today for a bit of snuggle time.

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  2. Ooooh, see?? That's why we don't wear those kind of collars any more. Something about "nightmares". Mom makes ours but she models them after the Wolf Pack Limited Slip Collars. Those prevent you from doing the "back up, shimmy shimmy, slip your head out" maneuver. Sad, but true. There's no escaping them.
You and Nanook look like you're having fun! He's sure a big fella - is he a Malamute? Very handsome!
I like the pic of you and Star. You must have been bribed. Or maybe it was the return of the cold weather? We won't hold it against you. So to speak.
    Play bows,

  3. Mali Boys are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dreami and handsummm ;-)

Oh THOSE kinds of khollars went buh-bye here years ago - something about an empty khollar and a certain fluffy tail on the run -

Lukhkily fur my mom, one of those neighbourhood snakhkies - some khall 'em khats - distrakhted me enough that Mom khould snag me -

After that, I had to wear like 87 khollars - well, just two or three -

Not we only use bukhkle ones -

Right now I've got a pawesome one from http://www.dublindog.com/

    Hugz&Khysses,
    Khyra

  8. Your furend Nanook is extremely handsome! We think he'll find his furever home real soon. How can you NOT love that face.

We didn't see you break your collar, and your hoomans have no proof that you did it bcuz they didn't actually see you do it, so you have our permission to blame it on who ever you like! And chasing vermen is the most appropriate thing to be doing while in the back yard. Geez, where DO they get their ideas!

    Hugs,

  13. Collars break and the world keeps spinning, yada yada, its not big deal. Moms can be crazy overreactors sometimes. We have to humor them. I love the snuggle picture, I thought maybe it was a double exposure.

  16. OH no! We only wear collars when out and about. We wrestle and get our jaws caught up in them when we play.

  17. OMD! Nora, I am a MASTER at the collar escape (though I usually slip out of the collars instead ~ Ma doesn't understand how I do it, and that's the way I like it!!! BOL) I'll have to try the 'breaking the collar' trick next....any tips?
I love the snugglin' pic with Star!
