Brown Eyed Girl

Someone is interested in my very favorite foster Avalanche.
It's hard, but we know that if we're going to help Taysia Blue reach their goal of saving 100 huskies this year that we can't keep any of our fosters.
But she is the sweetest thing.  Sometimes, you can find us licking scraps off the same plate (Master and Mrs. Master are very generous...judge if you want, we love it).
We're not sure how much longer we'll have her so we're just enjoying every second we have.

Sad and happy at the same time,

Nora B. Webster

  1. We sooo understand you can't keeps hers or all da fosters cuz then, instead of bein' foster failures ya'll would end up bein' hoarders...hehehehehe. Then we would be seein' ya'll on da hoaders show and I would be all likes..."Hey, I knows them peoples!"
But, dat sure is gonna be a lucky family to has Avalanche and I knows her be wantin' her furevers home real bad so hopefully it'll all works out.

  3. I understand I bet it is really hard to see a friend go, but finding a forever home is just the best as I am sure you know. Good luck to all and I am sending comforting hugs for all.

  4. It's very hard letting foster siblings go, but Mom and I are comforted by knowing we're finding them the most absolutely pawfect home you could dream of. And I still get to see some of my former foster sisters! (I've never seen my foster brother Pumba again, but that's okay, 'cause we tried to kill each other. A bunch.)

  13. Hi Nora,

We are, Mona & Weenie, rescued dachshunds that live with our Mommy in Houston. Mommy is what you call a failed fosterer. She started fostering in 2005 and has failed fostering 3 times. She knows how it feels to have to give a foster up but she also knows the joy of knowig another pupm has found a happy home.

We was over at Frankie's and saw your comment. Please come to the Valentine Party. We always have such a good time at our gatherings and you can bring a date or come stag. Our Mommy is gonna do a Smilebox about the party and dance and if you'd like to be in it you can send a picture of yourself and your date to us at redricca@sbcglobal.net.
